In Response to a Question: “Are Concerts Looked At As Big Deal of Things to Do In Ontario?"

Yes, the demand for concerts and bringing popular world-wide music talent to Ontario, more specifically Toronto has definitely risen yearly. During the spring, summer and fall I highly recommend you to attend a concert in Toronto at the Molson Amphitheatre. The Molson Amphitheatre is an outdoor concert venue that has a capacity of about 16,000. Some of the world’s biggest artists come to perform here every year.

Based off my experiences I suggest going to the OVO fest. It’s a Hip Hop festival that’s 5 years and running. It’s usually run on the first week of August. It’s a 2-3 day festival but I do suggest going on the last day where the main festivities happen.

The festival’s lead act and host every year is one of the world’s biggest rappers/artists and Toronto’s very own, Drake. He’s the lead act but there are several of guest appearances from the biggest names in Hip Hop history.

My first concert was roughly two years ago at the 4th Annual OVO Fest. I was absolutely astonished with what the show had to offer. Guests such as Wale, J Cole, TLC, Diddy, Mase, Kanye West, Miguel, Lil Wayne, French Montana performed. OVO Fest is essentially 10 concerts mixed into one concert, so no matter how much you’re spending you’re getting your money’s worth.

The incredible non-stop party atmosphere was a mixture of standing up for hours, dancing, chanting lyrics from your favorite songs, and being held in awe from all the flashing lights.

Even if OVO fest/hip hop music is not your cup of tea than you definitely should believe that same atmosphere is brought upon every artist who performs in this venue.
