The top 10 Vacations i ever had in Ontario
Growing up,
my parents loved to take us to different parts of the province, and looking
back at it, I’ve come up with my Top
10 vacation spots in Ontario.
Taken from:
Microsoft 2011 Clip art suite
I have been throughout this great
province of ours and seen many amazing things. Yet there are specifically 10
things I remember about the most amazing vacation spots I’ve been to in my life.
10) Halliburton
Wolf Reserve: This is the greatest wolf sanctuary I have ever been to. It’s
deep in Halliburton, on 10-acre parcel of land. They have it all natural, and
it shows how wolves live and interact. When we went, we say the alpha male. He
was this huge black majestic beast with these soul piercing yellow eyes. I’m
still affected by his presence to this day.
9) Camping: When I was a kid, camping
was a big part of our summer routine. Specifically Algonquin Park. It’s about
250km north of the city, and it was beautiful. Great campsites, and amazing
beaches. I always enjoyed our trips there.
8)Manitoulin
Island: I always like the trip there, because of the Indian reserve. Learning
about the history was always fun and interesting.
7) Kingston
Ontario: When I was younger, we would go to Kingston once a summer for a
bagpipe event. I fell in love with the city and the history. So much to do
there, and the people are really nice.
6) Orillia:
A beautiful destination to visit, especially in the summer. It’s a vibrant city
with a rich colourful history. Great shops, restaurants specifically the
Mariposa Bakery. They offer some of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Reason
enough to make the trip.
5) Barrie: I
enjoy Barrie because it has one of my favourite resorts: Horseshoe Valley. I
have briefly described horseshoe in a prior post. But, it was a big part of my
life many years. So, I grew fond of that place.
4) Toronto:
I picked Toronto more for the sights and attractions than accommodations. There
is so much to do in our great city; from shopping to arts, etc. Pretty much
anything you can think of doing, its there.
3) Burlington: This is a beautiful
city with lots to do. Yet, it’s still small enough that it has a small town
charm. There are historical sights, to modern shopping conveniance, plus, it’s
extremely close to the city. Nice, warm people make Burlington a great city.
2) Port
Credit: Town I was born in. It is the perfect mix of old and new. It has lots
of interesting things to see such as the old Adamson estate, the lighthouse, and
the walkway along lakeshore. Lots of things to do.
1)
Mississauga: This one is obvious, why I chose my city. Sure I have lived here
my whole life, so I know what I’m talking about. There is so much to do here;
you can go to super built up, to nature all around. From small density of
people to large density of people. We have theater, visual arts, and music.
It’s a diverse city. I love it here.

What are some of the best vacation spots in Timmins?
I’ve been to
Timmins a few times, but I still don’t know what are the best attractions to
see in Timmins. Now being older, I am curious.

Timmins is a beautiful town in Northern Canada, but it is a long long
journey. Going there when I was younger was just to see friends. I never knew
what were there real attractions. Aside from the ski hill, if you can call it
that, and the Shania twain visitor centre (I still cant believe they thought
that was a good idea); what

Skylon Tower Sightseeing & eatery in Attractions Ontario
Who loves the scenery of Niagara falls
paired with great food & drinks accompanied by your loved ones? The Skylon Tower is the best places to visit on Ontario.
Celebrating my mom’s birthday here was
an unforgettable experience.
On our day trips in Ontario, this occasion is special because there
aren’t a lot of opportunities for you to just take a moment, take a step back
and enjoy the beautiful life we all live.
What’s for dessert?
1) To fill your sweet
tooth, Skylon’s Baked Praline Cheesecake is “to die for.” You can look at pictures for this, but that
will not sooth your appetite and craving for this cheesecake. I bet you will try to lick the plate.
2) Concert & Casino at Fallsview will leave you
breathless. Why not make some money
while you are on vacation, after all someone has to pay for the hotel. Remember to only go in a casino with cash, no
debit or credit.
3) IHOP – International house of Pancakes. Go anytime; pancakes are great for all
occasions in Tourism in Ontario.
4) “Let’s go Shopping! – Wayans bros from the movie White
Chicks.’ Attractions Ontario we have outlets in Niagara Falls, if you
love great prices at your favorite places to shop.
Why not take a vacation away from home
and enjoy your next Ontario travel
in Niagara’s Skylon Tower complimented with Hampton Inn’s free breakfast &

Queen Street should be marked down as a
priority of your places to visit in Ontario. The atmosphere and diversity of
stores on Queen Street is very overwhelming, especially the first time around.
It’s always great to fully embrace all the wonders of Queen Street in a full day.
It’s my pleasure to provide everyone with tips
to embrace their experience on Queen Street.
1.
Set and follow a budget for the day
2. Do your
research prior and make a list of your TOP 3-5 desired stores to go
3.
Have
your phone/camera ready to capture the moments.
4. Keep your
eyes open of all stores
5. Keep track
of time
6. Don’t spend
more than 15 minutes in one store if it isn’t one of your top stores on your
list.
7. Give
yourself enough time to go up the whole street once and then back down the
whole street just in case you’ve missed any stores you didn’t spot the first
time.
8.
Grab a
bite at a restaurant you’d never have a chance to eat at in your local city.
9. HAVE FUN AND
ENJOY YOUR DAY ON QUEEN STREET
In the comments below share your past
experience(s) on Queen Street or tell us about your go-to place(s) to go
shopping in Ontario.

The struggle of a high school student with no job and saving up every penny of weekly allowance leaves options of things to do in Ontario, Canada very minimal.
This is the exact struggle I was in throughout high school, but I wasn’t going through it alone. My cousin was in the exact same situation. We always tried to make the best out of what we had and always found low budget activities.
One hot summer day in Mississauga, Ontario we ended up at Central Parkway Mall and stumbled across the perfect activity to fit our budget. Cinestarz; was a small movie theatre with five dollar movies EVERY day of the week. It was even cheaper than the Tuesday movie deals they currently have at regular movie theatres. Of course with this price you get a much smaller theatre (usually empty) and half the size of a regular movie screen, but still all the recently released movies. This turned out to be our hidden gem of the summer.
Where do you resort to going out when you don’t have a lot to spend? Are there any “hidden gem” places that you’ve found in the past or still continue to go? Share your experiences in the comments below.

What are your most recommend resorts for a special someone in Ontario Tourism?
A Resort
is a place where people go on vacations. If you were to close your eyes right now, as
a student getting away from school stress, what is that one place that comes to
mind? Is it the…

Would any of those above, be a place
that you would take the special someone.
Your Answer may vary or it may not even be one of those written
above. Ontario Tourism has a lot to offer, many to count, but what
you want to look for is not only the best place to take your special someone,
but also a place where you both would have a good time, not only
themselves. Think of yourself, would you
enjoy going there, if you had to go by yourself?

Travelling around the world; meeting mentors, finding what you love, making money!
Here we have to of my greatest coaches that I learn from. You can travel around the world and on that path you meet and connect with great people. You can do this by attending conferences, seminars and classes from your next mentors. I attended one conference and it changed how I can implement new ideas into my life to help others.
As students we have a difficult time in balancing work and play. Enjoy life's beauty's while finding who you are & what you are now becoming.
If you were 18 years old again, what would you do differently, knowing what you know now?

Wacky Wings is THE Place To Go in Ontario
Buffalo Wings. Wacky Wings is the newest hot spot in
Ontario! There are several of locations throughout Ontario but my experience
took place at the Missisauga location at 1248 Dundas St East.
It’s a great place to eat for simply any
occasion such as a date or bringing a large group of friends or family.
Usually the wait isn’t too long for a
table but during their infamous Wednesday Unlimited Wings special the wait for
a table can last as long as an hour. I suggest you book a table in advance, if
not then believe me when I say the wait is definitely
worth the service you’re about to receive.
This place is versatile and does cater to
a large crowd. Besides the food the entertainment is amazing. It has more pool tables
than you can count with your fingers and also has an arcade. Everywhere you
turn your head there are televisions playing and there lies a huge television
screen in the center of the restaurant, which usually plays the biggest
game/event for the night.
You’re served by nice and patient
waitresses. The menu is huge and comes with a very wide selection of wings. I
caught myself in awe looking at the menu for he first time.
The wait for the wings is the standard
10-20 minutes but the delicious taste of them eliminates that thought of the
wait once the wings are on your table and in your hands.
My personal favorite wings and my order
for the night was Applewood Maple BBQ. I drifted off into chicken wing heaven for
the next hour and I was so full I ended up walking like penguin by the time I
left.
Based on my satisfied service I rate
Wackys Wings 10/10!
